Speakers

Kent is the founder of Sun Country Highway which created the first coast-to-coast electric vehicle charging network in Canada. Kent works on big-picture sustainability solutions and is motivated to help inspire and eliminate 40 billion tonnes of global emissions to create a better world for all people.

Desmond Bull is Chief of the Louis Bull Tribe of the Maskwacis first nation. He spearheaded an initiative to train first nations and oil and gas workers in renewable energy and wove cultural integration into the project. Chief Bull spearheaded the installation of solar on many of their own facilities. He believes energy transition is an opportunity for self-sufficiency for First Nations and all peoples.

Binnu is the program director, of electricity at the Pembina Institute. She has worked in the power industry, government, and non-profits. She works on integrating renewable energy, and modernizing the grid and has expertise in fossil fuel and renewable generation technologies, community energy, and sustainability.

Andy is a seasoned business owner who has worked on sustainable development, clean technology, and renewable energy in remote communities throughout the Americas. He now works with Radicle on leveraging the power of carbon markets to promote and deploy clean energy technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
