Jen Turner supervised oil rigs in Alberta and Saskatchewan for 10 years. While the oil and gas industry was in the bust phase she and thousands of workers found work hard to come by. She discovered Iron and Earth an organization of former oilsands workers that is advocating for diversification into renewable energy and job training for those in the industry.
